Silent Hills actor has faith Kojima and del Toro will work on "something"
Silent Hills and The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus shares the disappointment many fans have towards the game's cancellation, but has faith something else will happen.
The cancellation of Silent Hills by Konami left many fans angry, not to mention co-director Guillermo del Toro. Norman Reedus, the actor who was attached to play the lead character in the game is hopeful the three of them will reunite.
"I'm super bummed that that happened back in Japan," Reedus told IGN. "But I have faith. I have faith that we, the three of us, can do something else."
Reedus added, "There were so many ideas and cool future happenings that were thrown around, I just can't see us not picking this up somewhere."
According to the actor, the team hadn't worked out story details before P.T. was released, and that the project was early in development. "We did some of that photography with a thousand cameras pointing at you in a million different directions.
"We did some things with them that might be – I don't know if it's on the cutting room floor. It might be in someone's hard drive somewhere. We did some stuff for it, but we never got into the full story stuff. We were about to and that water balloon burst."
Konami officially cancelled Silent Hills in April this year.
