Shantae: Half-Genie Hero now bound for "Vita and Vita TV"

WayForward have announced that their upcoming platformer, Shantae: Half-Genie Hero will also be coming to Vita and Vita TV should it reach its funding target of $400,000. The Kickstarter is currently sitting at $215,000, slightly more than halfway, only six days into the campaign.
The team were apparently so inspired by the requests for Vita support that when they saw the hardware revision at yesterday's press conference they decided they just had to port the wfEngine over to the handheld.

The game is currently set to release in October 2014.
