Shadowrun: Hong Kong Kickstarter breaks $1 million in final days
The people have spoken. Shadowrun: Hong Kong will live, and thrive.
Shadowrun: Hong Kong is doing tremendously well over on Kickstarter.
With just under two days left on the clock, the project has amassed a whopping $1 million in pledges from over 27,000 backers.
Hitting this huge stretch goal (Harebrained Schemes asked for just $100,000) has unlocked the Shadows of Hong Kong mini-campaign, which is a four to five hour story expansion, into which you'll be able to import high-level characters from the main campaign. It will be free to all backers at the $15 level and above.
No further stretch goals have been announced at this stage.
If you're keen to pledge, head on over to Kickstarter. Harebrained has secured a reputation as a reliable crowdfunded developer thanks to its comparatively timely delivery of Shadowrun Returns, which was well-received by fans.
The Shadowrun: Hong Kong Kickstarter was launched to fund development of extra features for an already fully-funded, in development project.
Thanks, GameInformer.
