Killing enemies in Shadow of the Beast looks like great fun
A new Shadow of the Beast trailer out of Paris Games Week has been released, showing enemies dying in a rather painful manner.
The action-adventure game tasks players with trying to dethrone the evil lord Maletoth, and slicing through enemies as they traverse the rather lovely world of Karamoon.
There are hidden quests and secrets scattered throughout, and players will unlock more ways to dispatch enemies as they draw power from their demise.
Souls of other players will be discovered and used to summon them to fight alongside the player or find a path to new locations.
The game also contains a Survival mode where players will test themselves against increasingly difficult enemies in "endless, brutal combat."
Shadow of the Beast is in development at Heavy Spectrum Entertainment Labs, and is available for pre-order now on PlayStation 4 through PSN. A release date is still to be announced.
