Set photos taken from Assassin's Creed film aren't spoilerific

When it comes to outdoor film sets, you can count on someone stationed on a rooftop, camera with zoom lens in hand taking images of the actors walking around in costume. In this case, that film is Assassin's Creed, as you noted by the headline.

There isn't much to report, really. If you head over to Screen Rant, you'll get a look at some grainy shots of the film's star Michael Fassbender in his assassin costume and other crew members walking around the set in Malta.

As far as the set itself is concerned, there's a building which seems to have been involved in a mishap, stone walls and lots of wooden poles which could be for support or possibly for parkour stunts. There's also a nice big pile of straw which should be familiar to Assassin's Creed players.

In the film, Fassbender plays a modern day assassin named Callum Lynch who receives the memories of his 15th century Spanish ancestor, Aguilar through modification.

Marion Cotillard and Michael Kenneth Williams also star in the film, which is slated for theatrical release in December 21, 2016.
