Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice claims top spot in UK charts
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has toppled The Division 2 in the UK games charts.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice landed the top spot in its first week on sale, despite releasing on Friday. The game managed to sell 800 copies more than The Division 2, all it needed to topple it.
From Software's number one before Sekiro was Dark Souls 3, and Sekiro's sales were about half of Dark Souls 3's. In fact, the game is also down 30% compared to Bloodborne.
Most of the copies sold were on PS4, with a whopping 80% share, leaving the rest for PC, and Xbox One. This only covers physical, not digital, of course, so the picture could look a bit different there.
The rest of the top ten strangely doesn't feature any of the bigger recent releases like Devil May Cry 5, or Anthem. You can check out the full top ten list below:
- Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
- The Division 2
- FIFA 19
- GTA 5
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- The Lego Movie 2 Videogame
- Forza Horizon 4
- Far Cry New Dawn
- New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe
