SEGA revises earnings forecast, expects profit in Q4
SEGA has revised its earnings forecast for Q4 2010, as it now expects a profit for the December 2009 -March 2010 period.
The company estimates net sales of ¥380 billion ($4.08 billion), which is a 9.5 percent decline from its previous forecast of ¥420 billion ($4.51 billion).
However, it expects total profits of ¥18 billion ($193 million) for the quarter, which is ¥3 billion more than the ¥15 billion ($161 million) it previously predicted.
The new forecast has been attributed to "improved profit margins in the pachislot and pachinko machine business and amusement machine business."
Good to hear.
