See the new jet ski coming to PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

Just like everyone predicted, jet skis are coming to PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.

It was less of a prediction and more of an educated guess. The reason being that the last few PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds patches included references, sometimes 3D models, of many of the items officially announced over the last few days.

That includes the R45 six-shot revolver, the pickup truck - which we now know is exclusive to Miramar (the desert map) - the sawed-off shotgun and many others.

Revealed today, the game's version of jet skis is called the Aquarail, and it's coming to both Erangel, and Miramar. The model is identical to the one datamined from 1.0 test patch last month.

The addition of a faster water vehicle is sorely needed, and should make encounters near and on the water more interesting.

Developer PUBG Corp did not say when the vehicle will be available, but it's more than likely we'll see it with the next test patch. The patch will bring the desert map to players for the first time. The map's name was officially revealed as Miramar yesterday.
