Super Mario Bros. is 30 years old and Nintendo keeps doing adorable things to celebrate that.
The video below includes footage of a baby-faced 80's Shigeru Miyamoto talking about how games are made at Nintendo, before cutting back to the present day.
Miyamoto and colleague Takashi Tezuka discuss the creation of Super Mario Bros. and show off some of their design documents, before leading into a discussion of how Super Mario Maker will make designers of players.
It's pretty cool stuff, and an interesting evolution of the new, open Nintendo fostered by much missed late president Satoru Iwata. Check it out:
