Scribblenauts dev seeks $500,000 for ARPG Anchors in the Drift

Part with money for probable good thing.

Scribblenauts developer 5th Cell is seeking $500,000 in funding for its next game, Anchors in the Drift.

The free-to-play action-RPG hooks itself on allowing players to create their own abilities with collectible cards. There's also some stuff about an "inter-dimensional empire" attacking Earth through time, which is apparently an excuse for everyone to hit things a lot. Seems as good as any.

Characters from various periods in history - such as WWII England, ancient Egypt and feudal Japan - are going to have to liberate islands to save the world. It's already looking pretty, as you can see in the initial trailer below.

Get busy with the wallet, doofus. Anchors in the Drift is planned to release in the summer of 2016.
