SCEE brands LBP2 delay talk "rumour and speculation"

SCEE has refused to confirm or deny rumours of an impending LittleBigPlanet 2 delay this morning, which claimed overnight that the game won't make 2010.

"We won't comment on rumour or speculation," said a rep by email.

PS3gen.fr ran a rumour yesterday, quoting a "source interne," saying the game won't ship this year.

A November 16 release has been confirmed for the US, but we're still waiting on a firm Europe date.

A CE has also been announced for America, but, again, we're still waiting for official confirmation of a Euro equivalent.

Alex Pavey, European product manager the game, has confirmed a premium edition will launch in Europe, but details are still being ironed out.

A European beta for the Media Molecule sequel is running now, with a US test promised for the coming weeks.
