PvPvE shooter Scavengers gets first gameplay trailer

Scavengers, the new game from Halo's Josh Holmes, has produced a gameplay trailer.

Unveiled back in December, Scavengers developer Midwinter describers the game as a "co-opetition" shooter. What that essentially means is that Scavengers is a PvPvE hybrid.

Set in an abandoned, hostile sci-fi world, players' first task is to work together to survive the harsh environments and fight off AI enemies. But, because the game is session-based, not everyone will emerge victorious.

This is where the PvP part comes in, as players will be breaking alliances and betraying teammates to be the last one standing. It sounds interesting, and a bit similar to Yager's The Cycle.

Scavengers' E3 2019 trailer can be seen below, and it has a few brief moments of gameplay.
