A meeting of the billiantly named Standing Committee of Attorneys-General (SCAG) in Australia is to meet on March 28 to discuss the nation's lack of an 18 rating for games, but according to this nobody should be holding their breathe on the subject of getting one introduced any time soon.

"Usually those things move pretty slowly at those meetings," said a spokesperson for the Home Affairs Minister. "It can take years for things to get through. I would imagine Victoria would just present these materials and the states would go away and have another think about it until the next meeting."

Currently, the highest rating a game can receive in Australia is 15, meaning very violent games often don't get a look in. D3's Dark Sector was the latest title to fall foul of the situation.

Hardly surprising it's taking time for our Ozzie cousins to catch up with the rest of the world, is it?
