Rumour - Nintendo considering renaming Wii U

CVG is using extremely circumspect language to suggest it's been given inside word on a possible Wii U name change. Difficulty marketing the 3DS - perceived by many consumers as a DS with a gimmick, rather than a full hardware upgrade - is cited as inspiration for the possible change. The Wii U was first shown at E3 2011, and Nintendo admitted it faffed up a confusing debut; a full reveal is expected at E3 2012 ahead of a release before the holidays.
