Rumour - Blizzard lays off Titan designer

Whispers suggest the primary designer behind Blizzard's mysterious new project has been left the company.
Massively thanks "Steve" for a report that John Staats has left Blizzard, apparently the victim of lay offs.
The designer's public LinkedIn profile still lists him as a senior level designer at Blizzard. Staats has been with Blizzard for more than ten years, and is hailed by World of Warcraft fans as one of the MMORPG's finest designers.
He is reportedly the chief creative behind Project Titan, a new title suspected to be an MMO in the same vein as World of Warcraft, but based on a different IP.
Speculation is yet to supply a compelling explanation for the rumoured job cut.
