Rockstar founders to receive BAFTA Fellowship
Grand Theft Auto creators Dan and Sam Houser, Leslie Benzies and Aaron Garbut will receive the BAFTA Fellowship on March 12th.
The Fellowship is awarded for outstanding contributions to games, televisions and film, with previous recipients include Gabe Newell, Shigeru Miyamoto and Will Wright.
“We have long believed in the potential for video games to become a new form of cultural expression and worked to show that in our games, so for us accepting the BAFTA Fellowship is incredibly humbling,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games.
“This honour reflects the creative vision and dedication of a huge number of people over many years, and we look forward to accepting the Fellowship on their behalf.”
You'll be able to watch the games BAFTAs on March 12th via Twitch and we'll bring you news on all the winners as they're announced.
