Rocksmith DLC teaches you to play bass

New DLC for Ubisoft's Rocksmith will add the option to learn the bass guitar when it launches for PS3 and 360 next week. Bass tracks for all of Rocksmith's 53 tracks will be supported, in addition to any downloaded tracks. The DLC includes tutorial videos as well as a series of challenges and mini-games to help players improve their skill level, it will also allow you to use a 6-string guitar to emulate a 4-string bass.
The Bass Expansion DLC launches on PS3 and 360 on August 14 for $29.99. Rocksmith launched last October in the US and is due to hit Europe and Australia in September.
