EA's push to conquer the Android gaming market has a fine bit of ammunition to its credit in the form of a polished-up Rock Band Mobile port - the only multiplayer game available at the launch of Verizon's new 4G LTE network.

Joystiq saw the game in action at CES 2011, where it was revealed that up to four players will be able to bash out a few tunes together from day one.

Rock Band Mobile is also available on iPhone, but the restrictions of the AT&T network, the only official iPhone carrier in the US, reportedly requires the player to resort to local, bluetooth-driven multiplayer or a Facebook connectivity function.
