Rock Band 3 review round-up: third time's a charm

rockband3

The music game genre? Stagnating? Not on Harmonix's watch - which probably features a tiny person windmill-strumming a guitar in place of normal hands. Just when you thought you'd cast aside your tumultuous life of touring from living room to living room and having legions of women throw themselves as far as possible from you, Harmonix decided to rope you back in with Pro mode, a keyboard peripheral, and a whole host of much-needed tweaks.

But let's face it: this stuff's expensive. And learning to play real music is hard. Is it all really worth your time and money? Find out after the break.

Rock Band 3's out in Europe on October 29, with Americans lucking out and getting the game a few days earlier on October 26. As always, if you find any other reviews, let us know and we'll toss 'em up here.
