RIFT's instance finder Instant Adventure goes live next week, big shake-up coming

Trion has said it plans to launch RIFT's dungeon/instance finder, Instant Adventure next week.

A bit similar to World of Warcraft's Dungeon Finder and LOTRO's Instance Finder, the system will allow players to join a group and participate in a random outdoor quest that is level-appropriate area. Quests will scale to the level an size of the group, and new quests will be started upon completion before peaking with a rare monster battle.

Also, the developer is planning on escalating the conflict between the Guardians and the Defiants, according GamesRadar.

“We’re planning to drive a wedge between the factions for the game’s one-year anniversary,” design director Hal Hanlin told the site, stating that the Fae Yule time of peace at the moment will soon be coming to an end.

RIFT was released in March of this year, so expect this bloody anniversary celebration to hit around the same time in 2012.
