Rift trailer shows post-launch evolution

Trion Worlds launched a new trailer for MMORPG Rift at New York Comic Con, showing off the many new features and content added to the game since its launch in March.
Rift has seen five major numbered updates since launch, releasing every one to three months. The latest, Ashes of History, brought the game to version 1.5 in late September, adding in Chronicles dungeons and more options for endgame players.
The game's major claims to fame are its freeform progression and titular inter-planar portals, which regularly spill forth enemies from one of a number of elemental dimensions.
