Latest Returnal video shows off all new gameplay

Here's a new look at Returnal gameplay.

This video takes a deeper dive into Returnal's gameplay and touches on the way Housemarque tells the game's story through voice logs and glimpses of different realities on your journey.

This adds up to a "layered and personal" story along with plenty of action as you explore the planet Atropos.

In the third-person, rouge-like shooter, you will be fighting for survival in an ever-shifting landscape. You will be defeated and forced to restart your journey every time Selene the character you will control, dies.

The procedural world you will be exploring is hostile to human life and changes every time you die. You will need to manage equipment and resources carefully, and try to piece together fragments of Selene’s memories as you seek out answers.

Returnal is coming to PS5 on April 30.
