Retronauts Micro Explores Classic Games We Want to Like

Your classic gaming podcast crew mulls over those old games that really let them down.

If you've been playing video games for as long as we have, you're definitely no stranger to disappointment. But these feelings of remorse tend to burn their brightest when we hang our hopes on games that end up letting us down.

This topic isn't at all new to Retronauts, mind you: I actually hosted a panel on this very subject waaay back at PAX East 2013—when we announced our glorious return to the podwaves—but, since none of the other 'nauts happened to be there, I figured we were due for round two. Seeing as this is a Micro, there's not much more to say without spoiling everything, so I'd like to thank Christian Nutt and Shane Bettenhausen for sticking around after the Valis episode for another recording. We hope you find they add that classic Retronauts flavor which made our podcast the destination for oldies talking about oldies.

As always, you can keep up with the latest Retronauts news via our Twitter and Facebook accounts, and check out some of our video content over on our YouTube page. And, in case you forgot, Retronauts is fully funded by our Patreon campaign, so if you can afford to donate even a dollar a month, please consider it! Every little bit really helps our cause.
