Resistance 2 demo knocks out E3 crowd, but date goes begging

SCEA just showed resistance 2 in its E3 press conference, and it's looking hot.
The demo showed the Leviathan in a cityscape, with Nathan firing rockets from a rooftop at its head. Stunning stuff.
Nathan worked around inside a building with a machine gun then through girder bridges as the monster attacked.
Insomniac boss Ted Price talked about the game's eight-way co-op and 60-player online play.
A new trailer was also shown, with alien ships floating to dramatic radio messages, but no date for the game was given.
The conference is ongoing.
