Resident Evil 6 turns up on voice actor's resume

The inevitable next Resident Evil looms surprisingly large thanks to a less-than-watertight credits list.

Siliconera noted - and screengrabbed - a mention of the unannounced Resident Evil 6 on a regular Capcom voice actor's CV.

The actor reportedly removed the reference shortly after it was discovered. This is at least the second incident of a CV mentioning the game this year.

Resident Evil hasn't been formally announced but Capcom has acknowledged its eventual production. In early 2009, the publisher said the game could take up to eight years to complete, but in late 2010 said a reveal was imminent.

Nothing came of that, but earlier this year developers did comment that the next core entry would be "completely different" to Resident Evil 5, adding later that the series would go back to its roots.
