Report - EA shopping Need for Speed film pitch around Hollywood

According to a report on The Chicago Tribune, EA is in talks with John Gatins to develop a movie pitch for "Need for Speed." The report states Gatins and EA plan to produce the project with George Gatins writing the pitch. It is now being "shopped around Hollywood," with Warner, Sony and Paramount all said to be interested in the film rights to the racing property, with bids expected in the low-seven figure range with Paramount the current front-runner.
