Report - Call of Duty coming to Vita "in autumn"

Guy Longworth, Sony's SVP of brand marketing for PlayStation, has said Call of Duty on Vita will be a "game changer for the platform" and that it is expected to land on the system "in the autumn."

Longworth dropped this slight bit of information during an interview with GameTrailers, but didn't elaborate on whether the title will be a ported version of an already released title, or a one designed specifically for the handheld.

Back in October, a job listing posted by Treyarch mentioned the firm was looking for help “bringing our hugely successful game to a new console," but the listing didn't indicate whether the assumed CoD title would be developed for Vita or Nintendo's upcoming console, Wii U.

Despite the firm's assertion it would support both platforms, Activision has yet to formally announce its Call of Duty plans for either system.
