Remnant From The Ashes Hunter Class Explained

Let’s start off with the Hunter class. This one is a long range-specific affair, with an emphasis on hitting weak spots from afar. The Hunter class is for those that want to hang back and chip away at enemies, which is particularly useful for the earlier boss battles. The Hunter Class comes with the following:

• Scrap Sword

Armor

• Hunter Shroud
• Hunter Trenchcoat
• Hunter Pants

Weapon Mod

• Hunters Mark - 100% Increased Critical Hit Chance against enemies within a 40-metre radius.

Hunter Class Trait

• Shadow Walker - Decrease in Enemy Awareness allowing for stealth kills.

Remnant From The Ashes Ex-Cultist Class Explained

Now onto the Ex-Cultist. This class is a great balance between close-range melee combat and a mid-range DPS build, with an emphasis on weapon mods and healing. The armor bonus here will allow mod power to be replenished at a faster rate as Critical Hits are hit. Here’s what’s included in the Ex-Cultist Class.

• Mender’s Aura - Creates a stationary healing pool that heals 10 Health per second, lasts 10 seconds.

Finally we have the Scrapper Class in Remnant From The Ashes. This one is focused on close-ranged combat, with a heavy DPS build. You’ll be able to charge in with a shotgun, bolstered by a mod that sets enemies ablaze. Here’s what you get as part of the Scrapper Class.

Which Class Should You Pick in Remnant From The Ashes?

So you’ve weighed up the classes and still can’t decide on which one to choose? Let’s give you some advice. Generally, the Scrapper is the easiest class to play as early on, especially if you’re playing alone. You’ll be able to use the shotgun to plow through most enemies, and it’s only once you get to some of the ranged enemies that you might have trouble. We recommend the Ex-Cultist as a great balance between the other two classes. The Coach gun is effective at close to mid-range, and you can always use the healing Mod to bolster yourself. If you are playing in a squad, try to complement each other’s classes, as a well-rounded squad is the key to success.

Can You Change Your Class in Remnant From The Ashes?

You cannot change your class in Remnant From The Ashes. This doesn’t really matter though, as all Traits, Mods, weapons, and armor can be picked up piecemeal. You might have to rely on random drops, but it is possible to pick the Hunter class and then go on to buy a Shotgun. This means that you are not necessarily locked into your decision, so don’t worry too much if you don’t like your choice early on.
