Redbox Instant launching on Xbox 360

Redbox, the vending machine movie rental service, is making the jump to streaming movies provider with a new service called Redbox Instant. The Verge reports that at launch, Redbox Instant will be available on a variety of devices but just one console - the Xbox 360. Gold Live subscribers are eligible for the $8 per month plan, which includes unlimited streaming and four traditional DVD rentals. Whether you subscribe or not, you'll be able to make a la carte purchases and rentals. Redbox Instant is expected to launch in under two months.
