Red Orchestra 2: $35,000 map-making contest winners revealed
Red Orchestra 2 developer Tripwire Interactive has announced the winners of its Counterattack Mapping Contest. Each of the winners will receive part of the £35,000 prize pot.
The winners' maps are now available via Steam Workshop but will be integrated as full Red Orchestra 2 maps soon.
Danh Truong's 'Winterwald' map scooped the top prize, netting him $5,000 and a one-of-a-kind Red Orchestra 2-etched Origin Laptop.
Winners in the "Best Original Level" category were:
1. 'Winterwald' by Danh Truong - winning $5,000
2. 'Bridges of Druzhin' by Kieran Tobin - winning $2,500
3. 'Coldsteel' by Johan van Pelt - winning $1,000
Winners in the "Best Remake" category were:
1.' Gumrak Station' by Maik Doktor - winning $5,000
2. 'Stalingrad Kesse'l by Florian Montaut - winning $2,500
3. (Was a tie) with 'Arad 2' by John Cree, winning $1,000 -and- 'Rakowice' by Johan van Pelt, winning $1,000.
