Red Dead Redemption 2 A Fine Night For It Stranger guide: How to help Old Cajun reclaim his home
Help Old Cajun clear the Night Folk Gang from his property.
There's a whole bunch of Stranger Missions to complete in Red Dead Redemption 2, but this one - the A Fine Night For It Stranger Mission - is a little trickier to find. That said, it's still well worth seeking out if you enjoy your bizarre encounters with the locals living in the Wild West.
This creepy Stranger Mission will see you interacting with the troublesome Night Folk Gang, while helping Old Cajun try to claim his home back from them. Without further ado, here's how to complete the A Fine Night For It Stranger Mission and help Old Cajun reclaim his home.
Red Dead Redemption 2 A Fine Night For It Stranger Mission guide
The A Fine Night For It Stranger Mission unlocks during Chapter 2 of Red Dead Redemption 2, but only after you have had at least one run-in with the Night Folk Gang. This gang resides in Bluewater Marsh. You can also find the Crying Woman in White in Bayou Nwa, or hanged characters near Lakay or Roanoke Ridge in New Hanover.
These are random encounters, so it might take a while for the Night Folk Gang to appear, and you'll need to visit these areas during the night to find them. If you find a hanged character, shoot their body down and read the note to learn more about the Night Folk.
After you've met them at least once, you'll be able to kick off the A Fine Night For It Stranger Mission by speaking to Old Cajun in Lagras during the night. He will appear as a white Stranger marker on your map once available.
Where to find Old Cajun's house in Red Dead Redemption 2
Ideally, after your run-in with the Night Folk Gang, leave Bluewater Marsh and rest until the next day. This is when the A Fine Night For It Stranger Mission should appear on your map; head to the associated marker, and you'll see a man called Old Cajun resting near a fire in the southwest of the area. He'll warn you about the Night Folk Gang before asking for your help to clear them off his property.
Before setting off, it would be a good idea to fill up your Dead Eye meter and make sure you've got a mix of close-quarters and ranged weapons. The Night Folk Gang can be quite tough.
He'll be your guide through the Bayou and he'll tell you a few tales about his run-ins with the gang. Eventually, you'll find the Night Folk Gang for yourself, and you can either kill 'em all or hogtie a few of the remaining survivors. Either way, as far as Old Cajun's concerned, the Night Folk Gang are gator food.
You'll receive a Gold Tooth and a Perfect Muskrat Pelt for your troubles as thanks for helping Old Cajun reclaim his property. Congrats, you've crossed another Stranger Mission off your checklist.
