Red Dead Online players will earn a Horse Care Package just for playing this week

Your horse in Red Dead Online may not be real, but your big pal is still deserving of care and love.

Just for playing Red Dead Online this week, you will be handed a Horse Care Package.

The package includes the Horse Reviver, two Horse Medicine to refill health, and two Horse Stimulants for Stamina. It also includes five each of Oatcakes, Hay and Carrots. Just be sure to cut the carrots up a bit so your horse doesn't choke. Oh wait, never mind. These aren't real horses. Still, that's a helpful tip for you in the event you ever add a real one to the family.

You can also take a few coins off the price of Stable Space, and even new a new horse. The more horses you have, the happier you will be. Broke, but happy.

Horses under rank 40, such as the gorgeous Flaxen Roan Tennessee Walker, are 20% off. The same discount applies to Stable Spaces, which will come in handy should you buy more than one equine pal.

If you want to look the part while riding on the range, new clothing items have arrived in-game. Just open up the catalog and grab the Descoteaux Hat, the Alvarado Chaps, or a set of Gerden Morrow Spurs. The Cossack Hat is still available for the rest of the week.
