Red Dead Online: Gun Rush matchmaking improvements made, more Gold Bars handed out

Rockstar Games has made improvements to matchmaking in Red Dead Online's last one standing mode Gun Rush.

Matchmaking improvements have been made to Red Dead Online's Gun Rush mode, and players are receiving another hand out of five Gold Bars.

Rockstar said it has issued a short-term improvement to matchmaking, and is looking at a more "permanent and proper fixes." These minor improvements, according to the studio, should help generate fuller lobbies. More fixes will be addressed in upcoming title updates.

"Gun Rush is best experienced with as many competitors as possible, so if you had any issues with smaller lobbies around release, we strongly encourage you to give it another go," said the development team. "We are already regularly seeing much fuller matches on both PS4 and Xbox One."

More fixes, changes and improvements to the game based on player feedback are in the works. These include quality of life improvements such as: Proximity-Based Player Blips, Parley Changes with quicker access to Feuding, Law and Bounty Improvements, and a new Freeroam dynamic between bounty hunters and criminal rogues.

Daily Challenges with gold nugget rewards and more are also something to look forward to. The next Title Update is scheduled for release in the coming months.

Players are also being rewarded for playing the Red Dead Online beta with Gold Bars. Anyone who plays the beta today through Sunday, January 27 will receive five Gold Bars by January 29.
