Rockstar fixes Red Dead Online beta for Xbox One players

Update: Rockstar has finally fixed the issues that was keeping Xbox One players out of the Red Dead Online beta.

According to the developer, all players who have the Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate Edition should now be able to play the Red Dead Online beta.

Original story: Red Dead Online is currently unplayable for some Ultimate Edition owners on Xbox One.

Rockstar has announced it's looking into an issue keeping Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate Edition owners on Xbox One out of the Red Dead Online beta.

Owners were pointed to a support page detailing how clearing the cache on their Xbox One console could help remedy the situation.

Here's the process:

On Xbox One

  • Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until the Xbox One completely shuts down
  • Once the indicator lights on the front of the Xbox One and the console’s power brick are off, disconnect the power brick from the back of your console
  • Wait at least 30 seconds
  • Plug the power brick back into your Xbox One and turn it on
  • Boot up the game

The Red Dead Online beta went live today for Xbox One and PS4 owners who own Red Dead Redemption 2.  Here's everything we know about story mode, Honor rating, random events, missions, XP, Ability Cards, and more.
