Rayman Legends release date rumours: Ubisoft responds, more details "soon"

Rayman Legends release date chatter has been rumbling back and forth this morning, following an alleged exclusive reveal by Pure Nintendo. The site claims that Ubisoft issued the site a release date of February 26th, but didn't have much in the way of evidence. VG247 has contacted Ubisoft on the matter. Get the results below.

Speaking with VG247, a Ubisoft rep stated, "Ubisoft confirms that Rayman Legends is scheduled for release in early 2013. The team is working hard to finalize the game and is looking forward to sharing more details with fans very soon!"

It's not exactly a debunk, but it does keep the release date open for further debate. it could be that the team is polishing the game further before committing to a release day, or we could be seeing a bigger reveal soon.
