Ratchet & Clank, Resistance dev teases watery new project
Insomniac Games has something mysterious in the works.
The Ratchet & Clank, Resistance and Spyro developer has released a new teaser trailer showing an underwater scene.
"Dive deeper on January 28, 2016 at 8:30am CT," the developer added.
Insomniac is currently polishing off Ratchet & Clank for PS4, a re-imagining of the series's beginnings, and is also working on an Oculus Rift exclusive called Edge of Nowhere.
The team has had a busy few years since farewelling Sony-exclusive shooter Resistance. As well as a couple of Ratchet and Clank sequels, the indie has produced multiple mobile games in between partnering with EA for the underwhelming Fuse and Microsoft for the equally forgettable Sunset Overdrive.
Insomniac celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2014 and made a music video to celebrate. I won't pass over any opportunity to mention this.
