Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Velvet Shell trailer provides one last opportunity to get across everything in this week's update
Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Velvet Shell. Everything you need to know.
Rainbow Six Siege Year 2 kicks off this week and with any luck this is the very last time we'll need to tell you about Operation Velvet Shell, the first content drop.
The trailer above shows off what's coming to Rainbow Six Siege with Operation Velvet Shell this week in easily-digestible and detail-light form - but if you want to know more, we really have you covered. Behold!
- During the Six Invitational, Ubisoft provided details on Operation Velvet Shell's two operators and map, as well as planned updates for Rainbow Six Siege this year. This includes when and how you can get your hands on the new content, a video walkthrough of the new content and a developer diary.
- It later provided full Rainbow Six Siege patch notes and maintenance times for the Operation Velvet Shell update, so this is the post you need for nitty-gritties.
- The developer also gave us some insight into its design philosophy for the shooter now and in the future by saying Rainbow Six Siege content updates are all about operators and maps, not game modes. Sounds almost like the way MOBAs do it.
Phew! Now everyone should be on the same page re: Rainbow Six Siege and the Operation Velvet Shell update. Unless Ubisoft loses its head and releases yet another trailer, or something. We can't fault it for enthusiasm.
