Rainbow Six Siege Operation Chimera operators are Finka and Lion
Ubisoft has officially unveiled Finka, and Lion, the two operators coming to the game with Operation Chimera.
Operation Chimera is Rainbow Six Siege's first DLC in 2018, and it's been previously teased in a number of different ways. Now, we have early details on the two new operators.
Finka, and Lion are both biohazard specialists, which plays nicely into the DLC's theme. They've been called in to lend their expertise in dealing with the Chimera Outbreak.
Finka is an attacker, and her signature gadget lets her deliver a boosting shot to other operators. The drug contains nanobots, which Finka can remotely activate at any time, triggering a health boost.
This can be used to revive downed operators, steady their aim, or what sounds like a basic health boost at the start of a round. Finka has medium speed, and medium armour, and can pick between three primary weapons; the Spear .308, SASG-12 shotgun, or 6P41. She also has access to breaching charges and a stun grenade.
Lion is a defender whose gadget is the EE-One-D, a device that allows him to detect movement in any area. Since we only have the introduction trailer to go on, there's not much we know about exactly how these gadgets will work.
Like Finka, Lion also has medium speed and armour. His weapon choices are the V308, 417 Marksman Rifle, or SG-CQB shotgun. Lion can bring a claymore or a stun grenade.
The full reveal takes place at the Rainbow Six Invitational this weekend, but until then, you can learn more about each of their backstories. Here's Finka's bio, and this is Lion's bio.
Operation Chimera and Outbreak both launch March 6.
