Rain World alpha gameplay shows Slugcat platforming, combat & more

Rain World's developers have posted an alpha gameplay video online, showing its Kickstarter-funded platformer in action. It shows the game's Slugcat creature hopping around a ruined industrial landscape while evading predators.
The footage follows my in-depth Rain World interview, in which we discuss the game's conception, neat art style and eclectic soundtrack.
In a new Kickstarter update, the team added new gameplay GIFs, each detailing many of Rain World's vicious enemy types, including Garbage Worms and Stealth Bugs.
