Raidou is back in Dead or Alive 5: Last Round
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round adds a new playable character to the roster - one old school fans will remember well.
Original Dead or Alive final boss Raidou will be playable in Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, Tecmo Koei has announced.
"Presumed dead after being defeated in the original DOA Tournament, Raidou was partially reconstructed with cybernetics and now returns as a half-mechanized killing machine," hte publisher said.
"Having lost his memory as a side effect of his cybernetic upgrades, all that remains is his unquenchable thirst for power, and his willingness to use whatever brutal methods it takes to achieve glory."
For those who came in late, Raidou is a member of the same ninja clan as Kasumi and Hayate, but was exiled. He fights with Mugen Tenshin Ninjutsu, and is capable of imitating the moves of other fighters.
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is coming to PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in February. A free version, Core Fighters, is coming to PS4 and Xbox One, with four fighters and most game modes, and the chance to import data to the full game.
