Q.U.B.E. 2 will support Project Morpheus on PS4
Q.U.B.E. 2, the sequel to well-received first-person puzzler Q.U.B.E., will support Sony's Project Morpheus VR device when it arrives on PS4, according to developer Toxic Games.
The sequel is being developed in Unreal Engine 4 said to refine the core mechanics of the first game and add a 'tightly woven narrative' that will expand the Q.U.B.E. universe.
"We've already taken the hardware for a spin and it's shaping up to be something fantastic," said managing director Dan Da Rocha in a post on the PlayStation Blog, "so we can't wait to get our hands (or gloves?) on a kit to begin developing for it!"
The team is finishing up work on a Director's Cut of the first game for PS3 and PS4, and is now shifting its attention to Q.U.B.E. 2. The core of the game involves using a special glove to manipulate coloured cubes around a variety of environments. Hopefully we'll have more information soon on how this will work in conjunction with Project Morpheus.
Thanks, GameSpot.
