PUBG teases Halloween event with spooky nurses, clowns and pumpkin masks
It looks like PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is going to be celebrating Halloween for the first time, and we have our first tease.
The video below was released earlier on PUBG's social channels, and it's very clearly intended to get you into the Halloween spirit. This would be the game's first Halloween event, and it looks to be mixing things up a little.
The teaser shows a player being chased by two assailants, one wearing a pumpkin face mask and the other donning an edgier white skull mask.
The clown and nurses in the footage greatly enhance the atmosphere. It looks like it takes place in one of the military installations around Erangel, possibly on military island. The weather is clearly foggy, and though it's dark in the teaser, that could just be a video effect and not an indication of a night time mode.
We're hoping the PUBG Halloween event will be elaborate, but it's all but confirmed new skins will be involved. Some of the enemies can be seen holding machetes, so maybe a machete group will be chasing after pistol-wielding players? We could only hope!
Halloween is the night of Wednesday, October 31, but PUBG's event will likely start much sooner. We'll keep you updated.
