Here's a quick tease of the new 4x4km map coming to PUBG
PUBG Corp. provided a look at the new 4x4km map coming to PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds during GDC 2018 yesterday.
The new 4x4km map for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds will arrive on the test server in April.
In early March, PlayerUnknown himself, Brendan Greene, laid out a development roadmap for PUBG which also provided a look at concept art for the map.
Folks who participate on the Experimental Test Server (EST) will find it's a small map providing a “intense and faster paced Battle Royale experience." It will feature a higher player density with shorter matches.

Along with a quick tease of the map, Greene and PUBG Corp CEO and producer Chang Han Kim released a "thank you" video.
In it, the duo discuss the year since PUBG arrived on Steam Early Access March 23, 2017 and what's yet to come. The video mainly serves to thank those who have supported the game over the last year.
An exact date for the 4x4km map other than "soon" was not provided, but once it's live on the ETS, we'll be sure to let you know.
