PSP Go cut to £129 in the UK
Sony UK has further reduced the cost of PSP Go, bringing the handheld down to £129 from the £160 it reduced it to at the end of October.
As you can see on the UK Sony store, PSP Go is now listed at £129, and is available in both black and white.
The machine was officially dropped to £159.99, down from £199.99, on October 25.
Sony cut the cost of PSP Go globally on the same day. The new price for the digital-only handheld is ¥16,800 ($200/£132) in Japan, while the American price was reduced to $199, down from $249.
The ongoing price-cutting on PSP Go is being made in barely contained talk of a swiftly incoming PSP2, development kits of which have been in the wild since early 2010.
PSP2, according to multiple sources, has front and back cameras, a trackpad on its rear and an HD screen. It's heading for a late 2011 release.
In the meantime, though, you might want to give the Go a shot. If you can get the VAT back, it's only £109.79. That's not so bad, right?
Thanks, Lewie.
