PSA: The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom now on XBLA

2K has sent over a friendly reminder announcing that The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom is now available exclusively on XBLA for 800 MSP ($10/£6.80/€9.30).

Developed by The Odd Gentlemen, the game focuses on pie thief P.B. Winterbottom and his pursuit of the Chronoberry Pie.

There's puzzles, brainteasers, time manipulation, self-replication and loads of sugar euphoria.

“2K Play is excited to present such a clever and uniquely artistic game that takes players to the core of fun and challenging gameplay,” said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K in the mailer. “We love the creative vision that emerged from The Odd Gentlemen’s student thesis.

"Taking a classic black and white silent film approach, the game blends a bit of time travel, a dash of cloning physics and a whole lot of pies to create a truly beloved mind-bending adventure.”

There are five movie levels, five bonus levels, and 70 brainteasers to help players capture the Chronoberry pie, return home and undo all the trouble they created.

By applying cloning etiquette, "sleuths must crack the enigmas by any means necessary using wit, time control and the ability to clone up to 20 chubby carbon copies".

Looks like our Wednesday night just got a heck of a lot more interesting. Thankfully. We are sick and tired of the TV offerings to be honest.
