PS5 teardown video shows the console's internal components

Sony has posted a breakdown video showing off PS5's interior.

In the PS5 breakdown video, you get a look at the internal workings of the console which was in design for five years.

As Neowin notes, what you see in the video will be a look at the USB ports on the front and the 10Gbps USB Type-A ports, the HDMI port, and the power connector on the back of the console.

You get a look at the stand, the removable side plates, and the cooling fan, along with a slot for an SSD storage expansion.

The drive and its enclosure, the motherboard, and more on display.

According to Sony, with PS5 it wanted to make a "generational leap" in terms of performance in order to deliver a "new, next-generation gaming experience." To do so, it focused on balancing every aspect of the system such as reducing noise level with a more advanced cooling system.

If you are interested in the inner workings, you should give the video a watch. Be sure to turn on closed captioning as it's in Japanese.

PS5 launches on November 12 and November 19 depending on your region.
