PS4 UK launch: sales hit £87 million in 48 hours, over 250k consoles sold

PlayStation 4 has outsold its rival Xbox One in the UK so far, according to data release by aggregation Chart-Track.
It follows confirmation that PS4 is now the UK's fastest-selling console, overtaking the PSP record set in 2005.
Now, MCV reports that PS4 has made £87 million in the UK in just 48 hours at retail, amounting to 250,000 unit sales.
By comparison, the site places Xbox One sales at 150,000 for the 48 hours after it launched.
