PS4 sales help Sony's games division swing to profit
Sony's PlayStation business has made an operating profit of 48.1 billion yen ($404m / £261.5m) in the past 12 months.
That's thanks to stellar sales of the PlayStation 4 and PS Plus, even as sales of the PS3 have stalled and the company wrote off costs for the PSTV and PS Vita.
The profit puts the PlayStation business well clear of last year's 19 billion yen loss.
At GDC Sony announced the PlayStation 4 has sold over 20 million units worldwide. That number is now 22.3 million, as of the end of March.
Next year Sony expects the PlayStation division to make another 40 billion yen.
If you're interested, the entire Sony corporation made an operating profit of 68.5 billion yen ($571m / £372m) over the past financial year.
