PS4 outsells Xbox One for 8th consecutive month in U.S.

Sony's PlayStation 4 has outsold the Xbox One for the 8th consecutive month.
According to data from the NPD group, as noted by GamesIndustry.biz, PS4 and Xbox One consoles accounted for 70% of hardware sales in the region during August.
However, the Xbox One is on the up, with Microsoft confirming to Gamesbeat that sales "nearly" doubled compared to July.
The best-selling game during the month was Madden NFL 15 from EA, followed by Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, Minecraft, The Last of Us and Call of Duty: Ghosts.
