PS4 no restrictions on used games and no online connection required

SCEA boss Jack Tretton took the stage at the Sony E3 press conference to state that PS4 will play used games; will allow trades; no was authentication required; and no check ins every 24-hours were required either.
This is in contrast to Xbox One, and Sony even had a bit of a fun dig at the firm's expense in the video below regarding the used game stance. You can even watch the video of the crowd going wild when Tretton made the call.
"We believe in the model that people embrace today with PlayStation 3 and will continue to demand," he said. "And PS4 won't stop working if you don't authenticate for 24 hours."
PS4 is out this holiday season for $399 and your PS Plus account will carry over.
